The Newsboys have been one of the top Christian bands for two decades now.  In 2009 they got a new lead singer in the former member of dc talk Michael Tait. This is their second album with Michael Tait and their first worship record with Tait.  Now given the fact it is a worship record that means it's a little more toned down in tempo but not by much.  This is a cool pop rock worship record that I think is very solid.  The Newsboys are pretty much the standard in Christian music and with Tait now they should be called News Talk or dc boys, because even Kevin Max of dc talk sings on two songs on this record.  If they could just add TobyMac this would be dctalk, well one can dream of a dctalk reunion.

Michael Tait sounds good on this worship record and this album reminds me a bit of worship band Delirious with the up tempo music and soulful unashamed lyrics about Jesus the savior of the world.  This record is not as diverse and complicated musically as Delirious, but a very solid record with great lyrics and Michael Taits voice is great as usual.  I give it a 8 1/2 out of 10
