The Squeakquel

So the chipmunks are back and they are as cute as ever. Only this time they have competition in the form of a girl band of chipmunks called the chipettes. OK I am not going to suppose this could be anything other than what it is, just a cute animated film. I can't exactly compare it to epic films or films with a message, it is just a really painfully cute film about 3 brothers who are a worldwide sensation singing group in the movie that is.

In real life the voice of Theodore is Jesse Mccartny who really is a world famous singer. I imagine they digitally made his voice sound high pitched for this movie. Then out of nowhere they are in competition with a girl chipmunk band who are equally cute and can sing. Bottom line is not a great movie, but good for a laugh or two and did I mention the cuteness of the chipmunks? I believe I did. I give it a 6 1/2 of 10.
